Responsibilities
Promote and enforce safe work practices, identifying engineering safety controls and supporting safe execution in the field
Lead or support mechanical engineering design reviews to ensure compliance with contracts, permits, codes, and utility standards
Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal SMEs, EPC contractors, vendors, and technical consultants throughout the project lifecycle
Support contract management, change management, and technical issue resolution during design and construction
Ensure quality documentation, governance records, and project documentation are captured and properly closed out
Support commissioning, equipment inspections, system turnover, and performance testing activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
10 years of mechanical engineering experience with at least 6 years experience with CCGTs
Experience supporting mechanical engineering on large capital or EPC projects
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors and project teams
Knowledge of utility, regulatory, and safety standards (NERC familiarity a plus)
