Responsibilities
Performing technical traffic analyses and preparing technical studies
Leading challenging and varying projects
Mentoring junior staff
Communicating with clients and local and state agencies and attending public hearings
Managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Assisting with writing contracts and reviewing invoices
Ensuring the technical accuracy, standard engineering practices, and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various project plans, reports, and design documents
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or a related field
8 + years of experience in traffic engineering with both private and public clients
Experience with project management
Communication skills for public hearings and working with public agencies
A PE license is required
Knowledge of traffic analysis software applications (Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS)
Preferred
PTOE Certification is a plus
