Responsibilities
Serve as main contact for 10–15 key accounts
Own day-to-day communication with assigned customers, mostly via email
Manage inbound RFQs, bids, and commercial questions for assigned accounts
Review bid packages and decide which opportunities to quote or decline
Coordinate with purchasing to source material and confirm availability
Build accurate quotes that balance margin goals and competitiveness
Interpret customer material specs using training and internal resources
Send timely quotes, order confirmations, and revised documentation
Provide proactive order status updates and resolve account issues
Maintain organized account records in Outlook, ERP, and shared files
Partner with outside sales and operations to support account projects
Join occasional customer visits or industry conferences as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Inside Sales or Customer Service-related experience required
Manufacturing, industrial, materials, or other spec-driven environments experience required
Experience working with technical specifications or engineered products required
Inside Sales, Account Management, or Cust Service-related: 2 years (Required)
