Responsibilities
Assist with monthly/quarterly close processes; prepare journal entries and reconciliations (cash, A/R, A/P, accruals, deferred revenue); and maintain the general ledger
Assist with subscription billing and revenue recognition ( ASC 606 ); collaborate with FP&A and Billing teams on invoicing and collections; and review customer contracts
Process vendor invoices with proper coding/approvals; assist with payment runs; and manage W-9 collection and 1099 preparation
Support customer invoicing and cash application; maintain accurate aging schedules; and resolve billing inquiries
Help refine accounting policies and participate in automation projects involving systems like NetSuite, Chargebee, and Brex
Support annual financial audit requests and maintain organized compliance documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3–5 years of accounting experience (experience in SaaS or technology is a major plus)
Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals
Familiarity with modern tools (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Chargebee, Bill.com, etc.)
Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills
High attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-velocity environment
Preferred
Exposure to ASC 606 or subscription revenue models is a significant advantage
