Responsibilities
On-call for both hospital and clinic patients
Shift-Based Coverage: 24-hour call blocks
Coverage runs from Friday evening to Monday morning (7 AM)
ERCP is a required core competency for this locums assignment
EUS preferred and Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube are part of the required procedures
Cases include Colonoscopy, Upper GI Endoscopy, and Liver Biopsy
Types of Cases: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Small Bowel Biopsy, and Sigmoidoscopy
Qualification
Required
Profession: Physician - Gastroenterology
Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Required to possess a Virginia State Licensure
Case Log: Must include documentation of ERCP experience
ERCP is a required core competency for this locums assignment
