Responsibilities

Develop and integrate acoustic reduction technologies
Develop and implement predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops, and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests, and integrates acoustic solutions
Conduct planning and 'roadmapping' for the development of novel acoustics technologies and innovative designs
Works closely with other disciplines to optimize the integration of acoustic technologies

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years related experience; or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with no related experience
Comprehensive understanding of sound generation and acoustics transmission through space/materials
Experience in acoustic test/measurement, data processing, and analysis
Must be a US citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret security clearance
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 5 years related experience; or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 3 years related experience. or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with no related experience
Comprehensive understanding of sound generation and acoustics transmission through space/materials
Experience in acoustic test/measurement, data processing, and analysis
Must be a US citizen
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret security clearance

Preferred

Active Secret clearance
Master's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a closely related engineering discipline
