Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment and services for freight and transit rail. They are seeking an Assembler 2 - Radiator Technician responsible for disassembling, assembling, and testing components in the Radiator Shop using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions, processes, and procedures

Disassembles, assembles, and test components by utilizing hand and power tools

Cleans and buffs components

Wash components with a power washer

Blowout parts to remove dirt and debris

May require operation of a crane, or magnetic drill

Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol

Make sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed

Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)

Turn off equipment when not in use

Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Hand tools proficiencyPower tools operationEquipment operationBasic arithmetic skillsAttention to detail

Required

Knowledge and understanding of the basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Perform the same task repeatedly
