Responsibilities

Work closely with users to understand their problems, needs, preferences, and business context

Translate the business needs into detailed requirements

Coordinate, plan, and track the execution of the development road map

Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure delivery of a strong customer experience

Lead cross functionally to ensure the product vision is effectively implemented

Manage the assignments and prioritization of tasks for development and QA contractors and staff

Anticipate and resolve strategic issues that impair the team’s ability to deliver

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and track record of solving tough, technical problems required

Experience managing software projects through JIRA or comparable tool

Experience working with Gitlab or similar code repository

Familiarity with React, PHP, or comparable languages

Familiarity with APIs and service-based architecture

Ability to learn new frameworks, new environments, and new technologies

Must be comfortable working on Linux operating systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills

Self-motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented

Adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Can work independently and within a team; solution-oriented with a collaborative approach

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience working with AWS preferred

Project management experience, training/certifications a plus

Experience working on development projects for commercial lending involving complex financial calculations is a plus
