Senior DevOps Engineer (PlainID) || Only USC Need || San Jose California (CA) || Hands-on expertise with the PlainID Authorization Platform || Full-Time
Cisco is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong experience supporting enterprise platforms and hands-on expertise with the PlainID Authorization Platform. This role will focus on designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, deploying and operating PlainID services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available authorization services across multiple environments.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PlainID platform components and policy bundles
Deploy, configure, and manage PlainID services including PDP, PAP, PIP, and Decision APIs across environments
Support end-to-end policy lifecycle management, including versioning, validation, promotion, rollback, and release processes
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of authorization services
Integrate PlainID with IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, and LDAP, as well as application platforms
Implement security best practices for secrets management, access control, and policy enforcement
Monitor system health, logs, and performance; proactively identify and resolve issues
Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with security architects, application teams, and SREs to ensure alignment with enterprise security strategy
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting enterprise-scale platforms
Hands-on experience with the PlainID Authorization Platform, including policy deployment and PDP/PAP configuration
Strong understanding of access control models including PBAC, ABAC, and RBAC
Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK
Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or similar languages
Solid understanding of security, compliance, and zero-trust architecture principles
