Responsibilities
Provide real-time direction to Division yards/facilities for passenger train composition in line with the System Fleet Plan
Direct manipulation of cars and locomotives to meet Mechanical Department maintenance schedules and Federal regulations
Lead daily equipment conference calls for train composition and equipment movement
Analyze real-time conditions like booking levels and adjust train consists to optimize costs and revenues
Lead capacity planning by monitoring ridership trends and implementing adjustments for maximum revenue
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience
Plus 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience
Plus 5 years of relevant work experience
Proficient in initiating recovery plans swiftly with limited information during service disruptions
Skilled in rallying diverse teams towards common objectives, whether in routine operations or during major disruptions
Effective communicator, adept at conveying instructions to field supervision verbally and in writing
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite for efficient business operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse stakeholder interactions
Available for work across all shifts, ensuring continuous coverage throughout the year
