Senior Financial Reporting & Planning Analyst

Responsibilities
You will support the month-end financial close and reporting process
Prepare and analyze monthly departmental and organization wide financial statements
Analyze budget to actual performance results by Functional Area
Support the design, build, and automation of the forecast/ budget planning cycles in conjunction with the Director, Financial Reporting & Planning
You will support the day-to-day financial administration of the government and philanthropic grant portfolios through reporting
Assist in new grant/contract setup and preparation of budget plans to provide financial oversight and monitoring of revenues and expenditures related to the contracts/grants
Track expenditures to plan and monitor to ensure they are allowable in accordance with the grant agreement
Ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly/quarterly contract vouchers
You will provide support in the preparation of grant progress and close-out reports, including provision of financial data to internal stakeholders for each report submission, as required
Participate in special projects and work assignments, as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 4 years of accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and financial grants administration experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and grant compliance requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple grants, deadlines, and reporting cycles accurately and timely
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas; macros preferred)
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a high level of attention to detail
Preferred
Nonprofit experience a plus
Experience with systems such as NJ SAGE, Salesforce, Concur, ADP, or Business Central v5.1 or higher preferred
