Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business and health plan strategy
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma to deliver timely, accurate insights to stakeholders
Partner with business units to understand analytical needs, define KPIs, and translate requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions
Lead and execute ad hoc and deep-dive analyses to support operational initiatives, performance optimization, and strategic planning
Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, proactively identifying performance gaps and recommending actionable improvements
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems, reports, and dashboards through validation and quality checks
Support data governance and documentation efforts, including data dictionaries, metric definitions, and analytical process documentation
Collaborate with IT, Data, and Operations teams to improve data pipelines, reporting infrastructure, and overall analytics maturity
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to automate reporting, standardize metrics, and enhance self-service analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
4–7 years of experience in a health plan analyst or similar analytical role, preferably within healthcare, health plans, or call-center-driven environments
Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel, with experience using data visualization and analytics platforms such as Sigma, Snowflake, Power BI, or Tableau
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience working with large datasets and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or claims platforms
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
Working knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling concepts
Preferred
Background in Health Economics or Actuarial analysis strongly preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow or Green Belt) preferred
Knowledge of the healthcare or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) industry
Experience using Python or R for advanced data analysis or automation
Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
