Responsibilities
Serve as lead counsel and primary client contact, developing legal strategy and advising clients on their best interests
Delegate work to associate attorneys and support staff while maintaining responsibility for quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Handle sophisticated family law matters, including contested custody disputes and complex financial issues
Provide full-service family law representation, including divorce, parentage, child and spousal support, domestic violence matters, and asset division
Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, advanced legal research, drafting and reviewing pleadings and motions, hearings, evidentiary proceedings, and trials

Qualification
Required
Extensive family law experience, including significant trial and motion practice
Exceptional research and writing skills
Ability to manage cases independently from start to finish (approximately 10+ years of family law experience)
Extensive experience managing family law cases from inception through resolution
Strong first-chair trial experience, including mediations, depositions, hearings, and private dispute resolution
Deep familiarity with California Family Code, Rules of Court, Civil Procedure, and applicable local rules
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve matters efficiently—and litigate effectively when necessary
High standards of integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor and support others
