Responsibilities
Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data
Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities
May write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities
May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application
Execution of the Internal Field Test Plan including Data Mobility, Call Processing, and Data Tput
Execution of tests using Qualcomm/Company tools, primary log analysis for upper layers which includes registration procedures, RLF KPI Analysis, and Data Tput KPI analysis
Reporting issues on Internal QC system and work with R&D to get the complete fix/analysis for this issue
Testing requires candidate to be in the field for ~4-5 days per week executing the Field Test Plan
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
1-2 years experience required
Field Team requires to have the knowledge for Qualcomm tools like QXDM, QPST, XCAL
KPI Analysis using tools like XCAP and QCAT
Need to be comfortable in the field for majority of the time of the week executing test cases
Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Preferred
Should be a team player and should have good communication skill to communicate with different groups within Company and also, if required, to work with carriers
Needs to have hands on experience with different testing tools and some basic knowledge for analysis
Basic knowledge for SIP call flow and Wireshark tool
Additional skills can include having knowledge for Scripting language like Python and Perl
Able to test in driving condition, and able to travel at any given moment
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability
Team player and detail oriented
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports
