Responsibilities

Review work orders

Locate windows and doors

Build unit according to specifications

Attach accessories and custom items

Perform quality checks to assure conformance to standards

Package units- Sign-off on work orders

Stage for Shipping

Apply and scan bar codes

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Cut and prep custom extrusions to exact measurements

Operate casing saw

Operate the automated production line

Cut down packaging materials

Operate tilt tables

Train personnel as needed

Assure conformance with 5S program

Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures

Perform Safety audits

Follow standard work, control plans, and written work instructions

Follow proper lifting techniques

Follow directions given by the Management team

Support and participate in Lean initiatives

Serve as a member of the Department team, providing assistance as needed

Participate in the continuous improvement process

Coach and train new associates
