Director of Myeloid Malignancies Program
The University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute is seeking a faculty member to lead the Myeloid Malignancies Program. The role involves developing a robust translational myeloid malignancies program, mentoring early-stage clinical investigators, and leading clinical trials with a focus on myeloid malignancies.

Responsibilities
Lead the Myeloid Malignancies Program with a variety of research projects with high potential for clinical impact
Mentor early-stage clinical investigators, including Heme/Onc fellows
Develop a robust translational myeloid malignancies program at the Huntsman Cancer Institute
Lead clinical trials, including investigator initiated and multicenter cooperative group clinical trials
Qualification
Required
Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent degree) with board certification in Hematology or Oncology with or without a PhD
Possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License
Demonstrated capabilities within an academic environment
Superb clinical skill set with an extensive clinical research program that addresses myeloid malignancies with a focus on early Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials
Preferred
Experience mentoring early-stage clinical investigators, including Heme/Onc fellows
Strong track record of leading clinical trials, including investigator initiated and multicenter cooperative group clinical trials
