Bright Talent, Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Operations to lead and scale logistics, fulfillment, and transportation for a multi-brand footwear and apparel platform. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, focusing on developing logistics strategies and optimizing operations for global growth.

Responsibilities

Define and execute logistics and transportation strategies to optimize cost, speed, and service quality across all channels (DTC, wholesale, and retail)
Architect scalable supply chain frameworks that support rapid growth while maintaining creative and brand integrity
Develop and continuously improve SOPs, freight flow processes, and fulfillment frameworks that enable global expansion
Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and alignment with company goals
Lead vendor and carrier management, driving accountability across suppliers, 3PLs, and freight partners
Oversee order fulfillment, warehousing, and distribution networks to achieve world-class service levels
Develop logistics strategies across ocean, air, and ground transportation, optimizing cost, reliability, and lead times
Manage domestic and international freight, customs, and compliance to ensure smooth global product movement
Expand and manage 3PL partnerships, ensuring performance, scalability, and integration with internal systems
Design and implement supply chain setup for new markets and brands, supporting long-term global growth
Ensure sustainability, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met across all logistics operations
Oversee ERP (NetSuite), inventory management, and logistics tracking systems to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency
Leverage data analytics, forecasting, and BI dashboards to drive proactive decision-making and identify efficiency opportunities
Integrate logistics technology tools (TMS/WMS/EDI) to streamline operations and enhance visibility
Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Creative teams to align logistics execution with brand timelines and campaigns
Partner closely with leadership to ensure operational readiness for product launches, retail activations, and major brand drops
Translate strategic business goals into executable logistics initiatives that enable creative and commercial success
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing logistics and transportation team capable of supporting global operations
Develop clear team structures, performance goals, and professional development paths for future growth
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across logistics and fulfillment teams
Align logistics budgets, forecasts, and operational KPIs with financial goals
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, trade regulations, and international shipping standards
Identify and mitigate risks related to vendor reliability, freight delays, and supply chain disruptions
Maintain contingency plans and vendor diversification strategies to ensure business continuity

Footwear and Apparel Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field required
10+ years of progressive leadership in supply chain operations within footwear or apparel
Proven track record managing global freight flows (ocean, air, ground), 3PLs, and carrier partnerships
Hands-on experience establishing order fulfillment systems and optimizing domestic and international distribution networks
Demonstrated success scaling logistics functions from startup through global growth stages
Background in vendor management, customs, and compliance across multi-channel operations (Retail, eCommerce, Wholesale, Distributor)
Prior success in building and leading teams focused on logistics, fulfillment, and supply chain efficiency
Deep understanding of end-to-end logistics strategy, including freight, fulfillment, and transportation optimization
Expertise in vendor and carrier relationship management, rate negotiations, and service-level performance tracking
Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills — comfortable using data to drive operational decisions
Proven ability to develop SOPs, manage freight flows, and optimize inventory and order accuracy
High proficiency in ERP and logistics technology platforms (NetSuite, TMS, WMS, BI tools)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Strategic and operational leader who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments and is motivated by scaling teams, systems, and processes
