Executive Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction for daily operations across all communities, ensuring alignment with Aegis Living's brand values, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
Oversee multi-site management, including labor optimization, occupancy strategies, expense control, and quality of services, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and operational efficiency
Drive strong financial outcomes through P&L accountability, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans that support growth, including expansion into new markets, while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy, revenue rates, resident and staff retention, and cost efficiencies to achieve or exceed targets
Lead efforts to recruit, develop, and retain top talent at all levels, fostering a servant leader culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth
Implement training programs inspired by luxury hospitality models to build high-performing teams that deliver personalized, resident-centered care
Champion a hospitality-driven approach to providing loving care, supporting residents to thrive regardless of their level of physical or cognitive frailty
Ensure communities provide exceptional, personalized services, including wellness programs, dining, activities, and amenities, while optimizing the end-to-end resident journey from move-in to ongoing engagement
Diplomatically engage with resident family members, working to understand and meet their expectations
Make every effort to provide peace of mind to our family members
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., executive team, regional managers) and external partners (e.g., other Aegis communities, vendors, regulators)
Foster cross-functional collaboration across operations, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources to support seamless execution and innovation
Oversee crisis management, safety protocols, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in senior living
Implement Aegis’ best practices for labor and quality strategies
Lead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and processes to enhance operations, such as data-driven analytics for performance tracking and sustainable practices
Support renovations, to uphold the highest property standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in senior living operations, luxury hospitality, or a related multi-site service industry
At least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., VP or higher equivalent)
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities, and implement precise solutions for operational challenges
Proven expertise in recruiting, mentoring, and retaining high-caliber teams, with a focus on leadership development and succession planning
Strong understanding of financial management, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and revenue strategies, with a track record of driving profitable growth in multi-location environments
Ability to formulate and execute policies that align operations with broader organizational goals and brand hallmarks
Deep commitment to luxury service standards, with experience in creating personalized, high-touch experiences
Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and negotiation skills; ability to inspire teams and collaborate across functions
Familiarity with operational systems, Sales CRM, and analytics platforms; knowledge of senior living regulations and hospitality best practices
Passionate about senior care and hospitality, with a resident-first mindset
Expert diplomacy skills to diffuse difficult situations among constituencies, build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
