The Corporate Business Development Manager/Director will lead financial modeling, develop market strategies, and foster partnerships to drive growth in the SAF and cleantech sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead techno-economic/financial modeling to guide investment & deployment decisions
Translate technical solutions into commercially viable offerings and market strategies
Identify and advance strategic growth opportunities with customers, partners, and internal teams
Analyze market dynamics in SAF, biogas, hydrogen, and cleantech sectors
Provide insights on pricing, structuring, and negotiation strategies
Conduct lifecycle carbon assessments and optimize plant economics
Working with Syzygy’s leadership to support fundraising and investor engagement with clear, data-driven positioning
Eventually, lead customer engagements for projects and licensing
Represent Syzygy at external conferences in business development capacity

Required

3+ years in business/corporate development, consulting, investment banking, or engineering with techno-economic analysis
Bachelor's or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields
Synthesize complex technical and market data into actionable insights
Advanced financial modeling (Excel, VBA/Python is a plus)
Strong grasp of finance and accounting fundamentals
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments

Preferred

Energy, cleantech, or industrial sector experience is a plus
