Responsibilities

Supports the bureau director by managing high-level correspondence
Coordinates stakeholder engagement and ensures timely and accurate communication with internal and external partners, including legislators and the public
Serves as a liaison and technical advisor across agencies and organizations that serve the needs of individuals with disabilities
Represents bureau leadership in meetings and facilitates informed decision-making
Leads bureau-wide communications, VR-related education, and performance initiatives, including strategic planning, public engagement, and trend analysis
Supports cross-division coordination, policy development, and program planning aligned with bureau and federal priorities
Assists the bureau director with tasks that enhance executive office efficiency and effectiveness

Required

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level
