Mid-Market Account Executive (Hybrid NYC/Boston)
n8n is an open workflow orchestration platform that empowers technical teams to automate processes with a blend of code and no-code solutions. They are looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to manage the sales cycle for mid-market accounts, engage technical buyers, and refine the sales strategy in the US market.

Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle from inbound lead qualification to close, with a focus on mid-market accounts (<2 500 employees | $40k-$60k land deals | 3 months sales cycle on average)
Engage technical buyers (Developers, DevOps, IT, and CTOs), guiding them through the evaluation process
Manage and expand an already strong US pipeline—50% of our pipeline is US-based
Work closely with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success to demonstrate the power of n8n and ensure smooth onboarding
Refine and shape our US sales motion, working alongside leadership to optimize playbooks and strategies
Be a key voice in our US expansion, helping us build the foundation for future growth
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales role (Mid-Market AE or similar)
Proven success in closing technical deals, ideally with developer-focused or open-source products
Top performer: You have a track record of being in the top 10% of your sales team
Hunter mindset: You have a proven track record in outbound sales
Strong ability to drive deals from inbound pipeline—we're currently 100% inbound
Experience working with technical buyers and navigating proof-of-concept evaluations
Entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, hybrid startup environment
Based in Boston (monthly travels to NYC) or New York (hybrid 2-3 days per week) and open to traveling
Preferred
Bonus points: You have experience with open source, developer tools, PLG companies and/or startups at Series A-C stage
