Responsibilities
Create designs that align with project goals, creative direction, and Apple standards
Collaborate with Art Directors, ACDs, and project teams to explore concepts and iterate on layouts
Anticipate potential design challenges and contribute ideas to address them proactively
Prepare and present work for creative reviews, clearly articulating the design rationale
Deliver final design files with uncompromising attention to layout, imagery, and typography
Partner with technical teams to ensure designs meet implementation specifications and constraints
Qualification
Required
5+ years of interactive design experience for web, mobile, or applications
A portfolio demonstrating strong craft, design thinking, problem-solving, and clear examples of work in context across a range of interactive experiences
A refined design aesthetic with exceptional attention to detail in craft and execution
Expertise in Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Experience designing within a large-scale design system or pattern library
A holistic approach that upholds brand principles and considers how the entire experience works together
Clear articulation of design decisions and the rationale behind them to a variety of partners and stakeholders
Strong experience partnering with UX, copywriting, development, and production teams
Experience with motion and prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, Keynote, After Effects) to convey states and behaviors for interactive concepts
Awareness of front-end web and mobile development (HTML, CSS, iOS) to collaborate effectively with engineering partners
Ability to deliver of high-quality work efficiently and on time, iterating quickly and incorporating feedback
An approach that balances creative vision and attention to detail while considering customer needs, business priorities, and technical realities
