Responsibilities
Drive sourcing decisions for NPD projects: supplier selection, RFQ, costed BOM ownership, PPAP, and risk mitigation
Partner with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability (DFMA) and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards
Manage purchased material sourcing projects, including cost modeling and CapEx
Communicate supply chain status and risks to stakeholders; lead sourcing reviews
Support component sourcing, substitutions, and secure materials for launch
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3–5 years experience in sourcing, supply chain, or electrical/electronic manufacturing
Knowledge of PCBA fabrication, BOM management, and quality processes (PPAP, SPC)
Strong project management, communication, and MS Office skills
Familiarity with IPC/IEEE standards and supplier collaboration
Preferred
Experience with cost reduction initiatives
Knowledge of manufacturing processes concerning surface mount technologies, PCBA manufacturing and associated quality measures (FAT, EOL, AOI), injection molding, wiring harnesses, and electronic material assembly (Box Builds)
Knowledge and experience in leading component technical drawing reviews
Knowledge and or direct experience of supply chain operations; RFQ, supplier selection / assessment / performance measurement, negotiation experience, supplier collaboration
