The role requires strong servant leadership, Agile coaching, and facilitation skills to ensure Scrum teams operate efficiently and consistently across complex technical environments.

Responsibilities
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning
Ensure Scrum practices and Agile principles are consistently followed
Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Agile best practices to improve maturity and performance
Proactively identify and remove impediments impacting delivery
Partner with Product Owners on backlog definition, prioritization, sprint commitments, and UAT
Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burn-downs) to support transparency and improvement
Communicate effectively with business owners, sponsors, and technical leadership
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience with Scrum and Kanban
8+ years facilitating Agile ceremonies across multiple teams or large projects
Strong experience working with Product Owners, senior IT stakeholders, and vendors
Expertise using Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Public-sector or State of Texas IT experience
Experience coaching Product Owners
