Responsibilities
Accept admission, rental and sales fees from patrons, and issues correct change as necessary
Responsible for taking and finalizing reservations
Accountable for all monies received while on duty
Responsible for reconciling cash register, verifying daily bank deposits, cash during balancing and night drop payments
Answer telephones and forward messages to assigned employees
Answer inquiries about course facilities, services, and special events
Responsible for keeping the shop area in a safe and clean condition
Assist in monitoring sales inventory
Research information when assigned
Responsible for opening and/or closing pro-shop
Required to work as needed evenings, holiday, weekends, and emergencies
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma with no minimum experience required in a related field
Skill in customer service
Skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to work cooperatively with other employees, customers, clients, and the public
Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
Ability to be punctual and organized to meet billing deadlines
The work in this position classifies the physical exertion requirements as medium work involving lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
Dexterity: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling
Handling: Picking, holding, or otherwise working, primarily with the whole hand
Visual ability: sufficient to effectively operate office equipment including copier, computer, etc.; and to read and write reports, correspondence, instructions, etc
Hearing ability: sufficient to hold a conversation with other individuals both in person and over a telephone; and to hear recording on transcription device
Speaking ability: sufficient to communicate effectively with other individuals in person and over the telephone
Mental Acuity: Ability to make rational decisions through sound logic and deductive processes
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word including those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly
Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
