Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems

Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical information

Apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management

Analyze, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems associated support systems or management information systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Scientific field or related field with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Technical or Scientific Associate degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the applicable labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

Active Secret DoD is required

Experience in NAVAIR, NAVSEA, or NAVWAR

Engineering experience in industry providing aircraft, aircraft components, support equipment, or weapons

Travel up to 10% may be required

Preferred

Professional certifications in engineering (PE License, PMP, CMfgE, SE, CQE, CRE)

DAWIA Engineering Certifications (Foundational, Practitioner)
