Responsibilities
You will develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating wireless and PHY system performance throughout silicon development and deployment cycles
Working closely with PHY, MAC, and RF design engineers, you will identify test requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide analysis to drive design improvements
You'll collaborate with system integration and test engineers to maintain validation infrastructure and ensure our wireless systems meet performance specifications across all critical parameters
Qualification
Required
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, with emphasis on WiFi; cellular technologies experience is a plus
Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++/C# for test automation and data analysis
Preferred
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
Deep understanding of key performance indicators and signal impairments in RF and baseband domains
Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and wireless system testing in laboratory environments
Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, including test framework design and implementation
Experience with regulatory testing and certification processes, including emissions, spectral masks, band edge, and power compliance measurements
Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
