Responsibilities
Perform process walkthroughs and document key business processes and controls
Design and execute SOX testing procedures, including data analysis, sampling, and documentation
Identify control deficiencies, assess root causes, and recommend practical remediation actions
Coordinate SOX testing activities with co-sourced and external audit partners
Maintain audit documentation and testing results within the GRC environment
Develop audit programs, risk assessments, and control matrices aligned to business risks
Execute operational and compliance audits to evaluate efficiency and control effectiveness
Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with professional standards and prepare clear workpapers
Participate in audit planning, scoping, and risk assessment discussions
Draft audit reports outlining findings, risks, and actionable recommendations
Review work performed by Staff Auditors and outsourced resources
Communicate audit findings and control observations to management
Support special projects, investigations, and process improvement initiatives
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on internal controls and operational best practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2–3 years of Big Four or equivalent audit experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CIA required (MBA or other relevant credentials a plus)
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Experience documenting processes, developing flowcharts, and preparing audit workpapers
Familiarity with core business processes including Revenue, COGS, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory
Working knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SOD) principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
High attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated professional judgment, integrity, and objectivity
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred
Experience with GRC platforms (e.g., Workiva), Visio, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
