The Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of transactions, and optimizing internal accounting procedures.
Construction
Responsibilities
AR & AP processing to support business operations
Vendor onboarding, COI's, 1099's and waivers
Construction project financials including percent complete accounting, job cost tracking and reporting
Executes QuickBooks transactions
Oversees monthly financial closing
Builds and supports financial insights, ensuring data is accurate
Supports budgets and forecasts
Performs inventory counts
Tax reporting
Provides management with analysis and recommendations for consideration
Performs/supports monthly internal controls and annual audit
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Controller
Qualification
Required
Degree in Accounting is required
Percent complete construction project accounting experience is required
QuickBooks proficiency is required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Self-disciplined and highly motivated
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
CPA designation is a plus
