Responsibilities

Provide maintenance and support for mission critical real-time systems

Research, analyze, design, configure, install, test, and manage complex hardware and components, such as routers and switches, and their associated firmware

Plan and execute the recapitalization of hardware based on present usage and anticipated growth to support departmental automation

Identify and execute maintenance routines and document procedures

Document and manage systems, network configurations, topology, physical connections, and schematics

Coordinate software and hardware problem resolution with vendors as necessary to include root cause analysis and management of vendor contracts

Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure compliance with departmental standards

Lead and manage projects involving the implementation of technological components and integration with back-office systems

Required

Bachelor's degree

Six years of experience in information technology systems administration including creating, analyzing, and managing information technology systems are required

Additional related work experience in information technology systems administration including creating, analyzing, and managing information technology systems may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis
