Cloud Software Engineers
RAZOR is hiring Cloud Software Engineers at multiple levels to support advanced mission systems for U.S. Government Intelligence Programs. The roles involve hands-on expertise in cloud-native engineering and responsibilities include designing, building, and troubleshooting distributed mission platforms across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, integrate, enhance, and sustain high-availability cloud-native software platforms
Design and deploy containerized services into hybrid (on-prem + classified cloud) environments
Build and expose secure REST/gRPC APIs and UI interfaces for mission data platforms
Engineer automated PKI certificate creation and secure delivery workflows across enterprise cloud infrastructure
Deploy and optimize SQL, NoSQL, in-memory, and S3-compatible storage (MinIO, etc.)
Implement and manage service mesh (Istio, Linkerd, Aspen Mesh, etc.)
Deploy and tune Kafka / NATS / RabbitMQ pub-sub messaging systems
Build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) within secure container orchestration
Implement end-to-end observability — Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Fluentd, Jaeger, Kiali
Engineer secure persistent storage, volume claims, Ceph / Rook, Gluster, etc
Troubleshoot complex cloud networking, mesh routing, VPN/overlay (WireGuard, NSM, etc.)
Operate across Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and classified private cloud platforms
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Active Secret clearance required to start
Onsite in a secure government facility (SCIF)
Junior Cloud Engineer (Level 1): Bachelor's degree in a technical field
1–3 years of experience in cloud engineering or software development
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and basic Kubernetes concepts
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OpenStack)
Basic scripting in Python, Bash, or similar
Strong willingness to learn and work in secure environments
Mid-Level Cloud Engineer (Level 2): Bachelor's degree in a technical field
3–8 years of experience in cloud-native development or platform engineering
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go, or C++)
Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Senior Cloud Engineer (Level 3): Bachelor's degree in a technical field
8–12 years of experience in mission-critical cloud systems
Expert Linux engineering and deployment background
6+ years deploying to Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration
4+ years hands-on with Docker/containerization
Proven experience with service mesh, PKI automation, and secure API development
Strong Git + DevSecOps + Agile/Scrum collaboration
Cloud Architect (Level 4): Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of experience in large-scale platform engineering and automation
Deep expertise in hybrid cloud architecture and multi-cloud integration
Advanced knowledge of orchestration frameworks, service mesh, and secure networking
Ability to design enterprise-scale observability and security automation solutions
Leadership experience in guiding engineering teams and defining cloud strategy
Preferred
Advanced degrees are preferred for Architect-level roles
Experience with secure container orchestration in classified environments
Familiarity with hybrid cloud deployments and multi-cloud integration
Advanced knowledge of observability tools and service mesh frameworks
