Responsibilities

Reviewing, analyzing, and abstracting clinical data from medical records for cardiovascular patients
Entering data into standardized databases
Ensuring data accuracy
Identifying trends or discrepancies
Working collaboratively with clinical teams
Maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory standards

Required

Proficiency in reviewing and abstracting clinical data, including medical terminology and familiarity with cardiovascular-related records
Strong analytical and research skills to ensure accurate data interpretation and compliance
Attention to detail, as well as experience with databases, reporting software, and data verification processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams
Ability to work independently in a remote environment with well-developed organizational skills

Preferred

Previous experience with cardiovascular registries or clinical quality reporting is a plus
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), CCS, or other coding certification preferred
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field is advantageous
