Responsibilities
Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from plan
Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results
Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplications; coordinating information requirements
Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations and reports weekly to the team leader his/or her assessments
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Market Research - Directs periodic studies and assesses results of the company’s and/or projects marketing efforts in terms of image analysis, credibility, competition, market share and trends as well as capabilities and approaches. Also, develops alternatives in a manner that provides for current needs and future opportunities
Oversee the due diligence process to ensure that all check list items are prepared and gathered in a timely method. Assist in monitoring due diligence costs to ensure that they are within budget
Investment Analysis - Assist and/or prepare new development financial models in accordance with development plans on commercial projects. Update financial models on regular basis to reflect current information and assumptions. Analyze pro-formas and budgets for sound underwriting principles and assumptions. Update current excel projections and ARGUS projections as needed for assets. Assist and/or produce sensitivities on projects as needed. Assist and/or produce credit analysis and NPV analysis on future leases as needed. Assist and/or produce ARGUS/Excel pro-formas, ten-year cash flows, lease analysis and other underwriting duties on acquisitions. Assist in producing underwriting packages for potential lenders and/or investors. Prepare sale analysis for existing assets as needed
