Responsibilities

Analyze wireless communication system/software requirements based on wireless standards and new product requirements
Research and develop standards of overall 6G system architecture, services, functions, protocols and their evolutions
Participate in standards meetings representing Apple and drive company strategic interests in 3GPP and related organizations
Support internal teams and product developments

Qualification

Wireless systems experienceWireless/internet standardsGlobal standardization participationMaster's degreePhDIP generation skillsCommunication skillsSelf-motivated

Required

Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related field
10+ years of wireless systems experience
Proven track record leading cross-functional teams on technical initiatives and IP generations
Strong knowledge of wireless/internet standards, including but not limited to 3GPP 5G-NR/5GC, 4G, 3G and their applications
Direct hands-on experience in participation of major global standardization organizations, such as 3GPP, GSMA, NGMN, ETSI, etc., with a proven track record in achieving effective standardization deliveries

Preferred

Excellent IP generation skills
Self-motivated, obsessively passionate and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
