Director of International Sales & Operations
SHR Talent is partnering with a logistics client in Chattanooga, TN in its search for a Director of International Sales & Operations. The role is responsible for driving global revenue growth while optimizing international logistics and operational performance across various freight modes.

Responsibilities
Lead and execute international sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across global logistics services
Oversee international operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective end-to-end supply chain execution
Own Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization for international sales and operations
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing sales and operations teams across multiple regions
Develop strategic relationships with global carriers, agents, and partners to enhance service capabilities and competitiveness
Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, finance, customer service, and technology teams to improve customer experience and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import and export laws
Leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and data analytics to drive pipeline management, sales performance, and operational efficiency
Identify process improvements, technology enhancements, and scalable systems to support growth
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership
Qualification
Required
Must have Qualified Individual for the Company's FMC License ability, Customs and Border experience, and, moving International Freight
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field
5+ years of total experience, with 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in international sales and operations within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
3+ years of Ocean and Freight Forwarding experience
Proven track record of driving international revenue growth and managing complex global operations
Strong understanding of global logistics services, customs compliance, and international trade regulations
Demonstrated experience with Profit & Loss (P&L) management, strategic planning, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)-driven performance
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and logistics management systems
Ability to travel internationally, as needed
