They are seeking a Trim Engineer Intern for Summer 2026, providing a hands-on learning experience in automotive seating and trim cover development, while working closely with the Trim & Textile Engineering team.

Responsibilities

Design and develop trim cover patterns
Cut & Sew a sample trim cover
Evaluate Textile materials in the Textile Laboratory
Experience the JIT Plant environment and participate in seat reviews
Create Engineering deliverables and assist in Engineering problem solving activities

Qualification

Microsoft OfficeBasic computer skillsDrafting skillsPattern makingSewing skillsCommunication skills

Required

Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
High School Diploma
Currently Attending a College or University
Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred

Basic drafting skills would be beneficial but not necessary
Experience in Fashion or Apparel preferred but not required
Pattern making and sewing skills preferred but not required
