Research Assistant I

Responsibilities
Monitor inventory for general laboratory use and order laboratory supplies, carry out assigned duties for ordering, maintaining supply of inventory. Track purchase orders and invoices
Assist with experiments under the direction of the PI, using physiological, cell culture, biochemical, and histological techniques
Performs routine laboratory maintenance including laboratory glassware washing, reagent and buffer preparations and laboratory restocking and cleaning. Operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on specialized equipment used in the laboratory. Maintain laboratory compliance with animal, biological, chemical, and radiation regulations
Assist in the development and implementation of research protocols utilizing cell culture techniques
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences or related field plus 1 year of research experience
