Responsibilities

Directly support the Test and Evaluation Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) and provide overall T&E management support
Coordinate Developmental, Operational, and Live Fire T&E (LFT&E) support activities
Liaison with OPTEVFOR and other oversite organizations
Assisting in development and maintenance Test and Evaluation Management Plans (TEMP)
Providing current and out-year planning, scheduling, and task allocation support
Produce accurate reports in support of T&E activities
Provide expertise to customers to ensure resolution of issues, providing program and engineering liaison support, problem tracking, and resolution management support
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Required

Active Interim Top Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain Top Secret clearance
U.S Citizenship required
A High School Diploma/GED with minimum 16 years of relevant experience in naval developmental, operational, and live fire test and evaluation; OR Masters with minimum 10 years; Bachelors with minimum 12 years; Associates with minimum 14 years
Relevant DoD T&E experience is required
U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard experience in ship and/or landing craft T&E experience is required
Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools
Ability to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility
Some work may occur within an industrial field office, outdoors and/or aboard ship while the ship is undergoing construction, alteration, activation, overhaul, repair, and/or underway trials
Walking and climbing throughout the ship, to accomplish ship checks, may be required
Exposure to high noise levels, uncomfortable temperatures, heights, or other industrial safety conditions will require use of personal protective clothing and equipment
Ability to travel (less than 10%) to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility or onboard ship while underway

Preferred

A Master's degree in an engineering discipline
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act of 1990 (DAWIA) test and evaluation certification is desired
DoD/Navy ACAT I Program experience is desired
Relevant Amphibious warship ship and/or landing craft T&E experience is ideal
