Responsibilities

Join a team of production controller personnel in planning and execution to operational requirements
Provide production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, and delivery to next step (inventory or shipment)
Evaluate all program requirements and coordinate with operations to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer needs
Provide status for work in progress, material availability, and potential production hurdles to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed
Work daily to confirm material supply and demand
Lead process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Material Availability Analysis, Tracking, and Reporting. Manage Kit Readiness including working with cross-functional teams to eliminate BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control hurdles
Process piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal shared resources, and other Raytheon facilities

Required

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience
Experience in Supply Chain, Production and/or and Planning Control, Inventory Management, and/or Capacity Planning
Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Previous experience in Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, and Lean Manufacturing
Experience working with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse or PowerBI
Experience with Special Program Access applications
Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or tools such as lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization and continuous improvement
