Responsibilities

Exposure to real-world safety practices and regulatory compliance

Hands-on experience with safety initiatives and relationship-building strategies

Mentorship from experienced safety professionals

A dynamic work environment with opportunities to travel to various locations

Participate in the creation of digital safety trainings to be distributed throughout the company

Help develop safety relationship-building strategies within all our divisions

Assist in regulatory compliance inspections and follow up on corrective actions

Support the Safety Department in contingency planning, safety reporting, and safety inspections

Required

Currently enrolled in a college degree program, preferably in Safety or a related field

Strong attention to detail and commitment to promoting safety

Valid driver's license and reliable automobile

Willingness to drive to our multiple sites across the Greater Rochester Region and Southern Tier with mileage reimbursement program
