Mechanical Engineer Intern
Novelis is one of the world leaders in aluminum recycling and rolling and a leading sustainable aluminum solutions provider. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to gain hands-on industry experience while supporting various Mechanical or Reliability Engineering Projects and troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities
Learn about industrial machinery, mechanical power transmission systems, and pumping systems
Provide support for various Mechanical or Reliability Engineering Projects
Perform Engineering drawing modifications
Troubleshoot a variety of industrial manufacturing equipment including aluminum rolling lines, mobile equipment, and furnaces
Work under the supervision of staff engineers to implement the latest reliability and maintenance standards to equipment
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University
Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate
Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation
Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Preferred
Prefer students majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Familiar with MS Office and AutoCAD products
Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
