Responsibilities
Lead all core accounting activities including general ledger, close, reconciliations, and financial statements
Oversee accounting for complex lending and lease-based transactions
Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting
Maintain accounting policies, documentation, and internal controls
Coordinate with external auditors and advisors
Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Build financial models to support growth initiatives and capital decisions
Provide performance insights to senior leadership
Support lender and stakeholder reporting
Manage and mentor a small accounting team
Improve and streamline accounting and reporting processes
Help implement scalable systems and workflows to support continued growth
Qualification
Required
8+ years of accounting experience within financial services
Direct experience with lending and/or leasing required
Strong technical accounting background with complex transactions
Proven ownership of the close process
Prior experience managing or mentoring junior team members
Advanced Excel skills
Preferred
Equipment finance exposure strongly preferred
CPA strongly preferred
ERP experience a plus
