Responsibilities
Provide SQL development support, including creation and maintenance of stored procedures and complex queries
Design, develop, and implement ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Perform SQL performance tuning by analyzing execution plans and optimizing long-running queries
Support data manipulation and transformation initiatives, including converting manual Excel-based processes into automated SSIS workflows
Review and recommend improvements to SQL development processes such as code promotion and peer reviews
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and perform thorough testing of reports, workflows, and data processes
Produce clear and concise technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, and support documentation
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while also working independently with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
5+ years of SQL database development and programming experience
3+ years of QA/testing experience
Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Strong experience writing technical documentation (requirements, process maps, procedures)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate
Knowledge of data governance best practices and procedures
Experience in the investment or financial services industry
