Accounting Manager
Silver Creek Modular is a company dedicated to providing high-quality modular solutions for California communities. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while managing the full accounting cycle and leading the accounting team.

Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Implement and maintain job costing systems to track project expenses, labor, and materials
Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to monitor budgets, forecast costs, and analyze variances
Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation and prepaid schedules
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial reporting standards
Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide necessary documentation
Assist in ERP system implementation and optimization (e.g., NetSuite, Procure)
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Lead and mentor accounting staff to ensure high performance and professional development
Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns and coordinate with tax advisors
Maintain knowledge of current accounting standards and emerging regulatory issues in California
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within manufacturing or construction
Strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, WIP (work-in-progress) reporting, and project-based financial management
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements (e.g., labor reporting, lien releases, insurance audits)
