Responsibilities
Lead and innovate our release management processes
Establish standard methodologies for release pipelines
Implement resiliency measures like chaos testing
Drive performance and capacity planning
Lead incident response and postmortems
Maintain detailed release documentation
Partner closely with multi-functional teams including cloud architects, SREs, and network engineering
Ensure quality in deployment automation and operational reliability
Present and defend engineering proposals
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and operationalizing large scale release (CI/CD, Chaos & Scale) testing platforms
Solid understanding of cloud-native networking components: VPCs, peering, transit gateways, service meshes, NATs, firewalls, etc
Good knowledge of API design and interface technologies (JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, XML, etc)
In depth knowledge of K8s, OpenStack, system virtualization, build systems and infrastructure as code
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts, designs and decisions
Preferred
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
