Electrical Engineer - Generator Service Engineering

Responsibilities

Execute complex engineering studies, including generator capability and uprate evaluations, that will shape the future of the power generation industry

Analyze customer operating data to diagnose forced outages and evaluate overall generator health, enabling us to continuously improve our service offerings. Support commercial partners by conducting fleet studies, performing lifecycle assessments, and communicating with customers to ensure their satisfaction

Participating in root cause analyses and have a direct impact on quality topics

Drive our Generator Service Engineering digitalization initiative, ensuring that our team is at the forefront of technological innovation

Respond to field issues and customer requests, providing timely solutions to complex problems

Travel opportunities (5-15%) to collaborate with customers and team members around the globe

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred

Experience in the power generation industry preferred

Experience in the design, analysis, and/or maintenance of turbogenerators preferred

Open to new graduates, internship experience preferred

A passion for problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, contributing to a positive and innovative work culture

Strong communication and technical presentations skills and the ability to interface directly with customers, field personnel, back-office personnel, and management

Ability to make quick, informed decisions on a regular basis

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
