The intern will assist with laboratory activities, documentation, and cross-functional projects related to formulation development and analytical method development under the supervision of senior scientists.

Responsibilities

Assist in pre-formulation studies, excipient compatibility evaluations, and preparation of prototype formulations
Support execution of lab-scale and pilot-scale batches, including weighing, blending, granulation, and compression activities
Document experimental procedures and observations in compliance with internal standards
Contribute to preparation and review of technology transfer documentation (batch records, process descriptions, and reports)
Participate in data collection and organization for scale-up and manufacturing readiness
Assist in sample preparation and execution of routine analytical tests under supervision
Support method development and validation activities through data entry, trending, and preliminary analysis
Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements

Required

Major: Bioengineering
Class Year: Rising Junior, Rising Senior
GPA: Min 3.0
Availability: Must be available to work from May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026
Basic understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, formulation principles, and analytical techniques
Familiarity with laboratory safety and GMP concepts
Effective Communication
Self-starter – Ability to drive work
Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate documentation
