Senior Quality Engineer (Aerospace)
Chromalloy Corporation is a global engineering & solutions company that provides aftermarket parts and repairs for aircraft engines and gas turbines. The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for evaluating and resolving quality-related issues during manufacturing and maintenance of turbine engine components while ensuring compliance with quality system requirements.

Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications and confer with engineering staff to determine quality standards
Prepare corrective action responses, Auditing over various departments, 8D problem solving for permanent corrective actions, and lead problem solving activities
Manage internal and external customer drawings and specifications
Demonstrate and deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely release of control of configuration management documents, responses, and data
Provide technical support to both internal and external customers and suppliers
Formulate and implement quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards
Actively support Cost-Out, Scrap/Rework reduction & improved First Pass Yield site goals and objectives
Support daily production shipments to internal and external customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or another related field) is required
5+ years relevant work experience as a quality engineer, aerospace industry preferred
Six Sigma green belt with real world project experience
8D, or root cause analysis experience using statistical analysis tools
Certification process experience (i.e., ISO9001:2008, AS9100/9110) FAA Part 145, FAA Part 21, CAAC, CAA, Military
Knowledge of QDAS system
Must be proficient in Excel, Minitab, Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred
Knowledge of GD&T, OEM Customer Portals (Siemens, Rolls Royce, Safran, etc.) is preferred
AS13001/AS9117 Delegated Product Release Verification Training Certification Preferred
