Facilities Engineer
Razorjack Recruiting/ R G Resources, Inc is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to lead maintenance operations within a heavy manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all plant equipment while leading a team of skilled maintenance technicians.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance leadership
Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Maintain critical spare parts inventory and equipment readiness
Plan and schedule maintenance activities in coordination with production and engineering
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis and reliability best practices
Enforce OSHA, EPA, and facility safety compliance standards
Manage vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance, repairs, and installations
Support capital projects including equipment upgrades, facility expansions, and infrastructure improvements
Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and asset histories using CMMS systems
Qualification
Required
5+ years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial environments
2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience with capital projects, equipment installations, or facility upgrades
Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance and root cause failure analysis
Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with CMMS systems for work orders, PMs, and asset management
Solid understanding of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA safety standards
Experience with TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field preferred
Trade school graduates with strong field experience encouraged to apply
CMRP, OSHA 30, Electrical License, Millwright, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing
