Auterion is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a rapidly scaling, global organization. The role involves executing core close activities, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and supporting audit readiness in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.

Responsibilities

Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations across multiple entities, including cash, prepaids, accruals, payroll, etc

Maintain clear and complete supporting documentation for all journal entries and reconciliations

Support the close calendar by tracking dependencies, deadlines, and completion status

Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances

Monitor and analyze general ledger activity to ensure compliance with US GAAP

Assist with preparation of financial reporting packages used for internal management and business performance reviews

Partner with FP&A to provide accurate actuals and explanations for forecasting and budgeting purposes

Support the company's first global consolidated external audit, including preparation of audit schedules, PBC support, and follow-up responses

Collaborate with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and system efficiency

Support enhancements to the NetSuite environment, including reporting, workflows, and module adoption tied to corporate initiatives

Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data quality through better systems usage and controls

Work closely cross-functionally to ensure accruals and estimates are reasonable, supportable, and complete
